To mark the beginning of the Birth Centenary year of Late Shri Siddhartha Shankar Ray, a blood donation camp was organised on 20th October, 2019 (99th Birth Anniversary of Late Siddhartha Shankar Ray) at BA-CA Park, Bidhannagar.
Around 200 units of blood were collected with help from People's Blood Bank and the Blood Bank of Bidhannagar Sub-Divisional Hospital.
Eminent personalities including Shri Sujit Bose (Minister of State (I/c) for Fire & Emergency Services, Govt. of West Bengal), Shri Tapash Chatterjee (Deputy Mayor, Bidhannagar) and various Councillors of Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation graced the occasion. Shri Ayan Ray, grandson of Late Siddhartha Shankar Ray also graced the program.
